NOTD

My first attempt on half moon nails! I actually thought about leaving it with only the pearly polish, but since I haven't tried half moons yet, which were super popular on the runway at one point, i decided to go ahead and try it out. Didn't turn out so bad, but I got too carried away and added some rhinestones and girllllll lemme tell you!.. I was actually afraid to step out of the house with it, considering it looked SO done up which will get people looking. I mean like I got many compliments on them on the streets and in school, but eh it's just not me. :(

Sinful Colors - Tokyo Pearl
Sephora by OPI - What's a Tire Jack?
Make Up For Ever Mini Strass - Crystal (for rhinestones)
Essie - Fill the Gap! (base)
Revlon - Extra Life No Chip (top)

Bye! :)

NOTD

I'M BACKK! Sorry for going mia the past month! There has been a lot going on with school, and etc etc. I will try my best to update as much as possible :)

Here's my NOTD, using OPI Ate Berries in the Canaries and Siberian Nights along with Hard Candy Beetle. Siberian Nights appear more black than a deep purple, but looks just as good when paired with Beetle. Nothing dramatic but still girly haha. Honestly one photo says it all but i added a second photo because i wanted you guys to see the Beetle polish more clearly; has a hint of green reflection when being hit by light at certain angles. Also added some light pink rhinestones just to spice it up a bit.

NOTD

So I originally gave myself a simple deep mauve color manicure because i got super bored at home. But let's just say one thing lead to another (ha ha!)

The color i used was Sephora by OPI On Stage. The Sephora website said this was a grey plum color but honestly in my opinion, the bottle was a deep mauve color, even when applied to nail.. smh..

..then i thought the color looked kind of lonely so i decide to add a pop of glitter using Milani's 3D Holographic nail laquer which turned out looking pretty nice vvvvv
night time with room light on

during the day with no room light
-This is with 2 coats of On Stage and 1 coat of Hi-Res

Products used so far:
Seche Matte as a base coat
Sephora by Opi On Stage
Milani 3D Holographic in 514 Hi-Res
Revlon Extra Life No Chip Top Coat

Then added some black, using Sephora by OPI What's A Tire Jack and scotch tape to tone down the mani

toning down ended up like this.. with me constantly staring at my nails haha i dont even know if its considered a win or fail

TATA 2010!

I know it's currently new year's eve and there's still one whole day ahead of me before its officially a new year, but hey nobody said a girl can't go out and have some fun right? ;) THEREFORE in case i don't make it back by 12am to say happy new year, here goes:

It's that time of year again where we come together to say our farewells to our current year and welcome a new one!

My 2 main new year resolutions: Do super good in school and find a job or internship ASAP.
My side new year resolution: Build up the guts to start making videos for all of you's.

(btw i decided to be festive and ring in the new year with my current nails i've done today.)
Regular french manicure with a lavender heart and rhinestones.
Products used:
Sephora by OPI Base Coat
Sally Hansen French Manicure Strips
White: OPI Alpine Snow
Lavender: Loreal Delicate Dusk 333
1.5mm Rhinestones purchased from my nearby beauty supply store (comes in a wheel with a variety of colors)

Lastly, is it just me or does almost every year go by super quick? hm.. well TATA 2010!

HAPPY 2011 EVERYONE! :)
